A dedicated Global Macro Hedge Fund Manager for Family Offices & select Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) individuals, he is a passionate patron of the Arts and BioMedical research and an active participant across Australian, regional and international philanthropic foundations.
He has maintained a Private Wealth Management focus for over 22 years through Trading (Market Making), Family Office Asset and Private Ancillary Funds Management, Wholesale Wealth Advisory and Expert Network positions in Australia, China and abroad.
Stirling has complemented this with Senior University Lecturing tenures internationally for over a decade and wrote a weekly column in the Weekend Australian & Australian Financial Review (AFR) newspapers for seven years discussing Family Office & UHNW global thematics.
He has recently been the Chair of the National Revenue & Brand Advisory Committee plus National Board Member of the National Heart Foundation of Australia and the Eureka Patron plus Board Member of the Art Gallery of Ballarat. Stirling currently sits on thirteen Advisory Boards and Investment Committees in Australia and in January 2020, joined Harvard Kennedy School’s Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business and Government (M-RCBG) Advisory Council, chaired by Dr Larry H. Summers.
He believes establishing and maintaining great wealth goes in hand with philanthropy and community education and is a proud participant across numerous Australian Standfirst Foundation Inc. community education programmes and initiatives.
